Welcome to the study "Citizen Science in Europe"!
Thank you
for your interest in the study “Citizen Science in Europe”.
This study is conducted in collaboration between the Institute for Communication Science at TU Braunschweig, the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the Leibniz Institute for Psychology and the Institute for Psychology at LMU Munich. Below, you will
find information on the research, the participation conditions and the use of
collected data. Please carefully read everything. If you agree and want to
participate in this study, please fill out the subsequent sheet.
Participation
requirements
To
participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and actively
engage in a Citizen Science project, either currently or in the past. This
survey does not target institutional scientists in the projects.
About
the procedure
This study
takes approximately 10-15 minutes. On the next page is a data protection
consent form. Next, you will see questions on the Citizen Science project,
followed by questions on your perception of the project and science in general.
Last, we will ask some questions about yourself.
Benefits
As a thank
you for taking part, we are giving away 10 Amazon vouchers, worth 50 Euros
each. The winners will be randomly selected once the survey has finished. If
you want to enter the raffle, you can leave your contact data at the end of the
survey. Your contact data will be stored separately from your survey responses,
ensuring that your inputs remain anonymous.
Please pay
attention to the following things when filling the survey:
- Find a
quiet place where you are not disturbed.
- Complete
the questionnaire without interruptions.
- Do not
click ‘Back’ or ‘Refresh’ in your browser, as this may interfere with the
saving of your data.
- Due to the
small screen size, participating via a mobile phone or smartphone is not ideal.
